Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, general principles, requirements (water quality, water pressure, new installations, meter reading and billing, after-sales service, information, facilities and personnel, complaint handling, emergency response, and secondary water supply) for urban water supply services, as well as the evaluation of service quality.
This standard applies to the provision of drinking water supply services by urban water supply units to their customers.
