Scope
This document specifies the air cleanliness grades of cleanrooms and clean areas based on the concentration of suspended particles in the air, as described in GB/T 25915.7.
This document is applicable to the monitoring of the cumulative count distribution of particles with a particle size lower limit of 0.1 μm to 5 μm and their particle concentration.
The concentration of ultrafine particles (<0.1 μm) will be specified in the air cleanliness standards for nanoscale particles. At designated sampling points, a light scattering (discrete) airborne particle counter (LSAPC) is used to determine the particle concentration of large particles (>5 μm) and quantify them using the M descriptor.
This document is not applicable to characterizing the physical, chemical, radioactive, biological, or other properties of airborne particles.
