Scope

This standard specifies the model, technical requirements, test methods, re-inspection, and supply technical conditions of high-strength steel flux-cored welding wires. This standard applies to high-strength steel flux-cored welding wires (hereinafter referred to as "welding wires") used in gas shielded and self-shielded arc welding, with a minimum tensile strength requirement of not less than 590 MPa for the deposited metal.
