Scope

本文件详细规定了在固体电气绝缘材料或其他固体材料试样上进行起燃性试验的灼热丝试验方法，目的是测定灼热丝起燃温度（GWIT)。
GWIT是比本标准化试验程序测得的最高温度高出25 ℃1)（或30 ℃)的温度。在此过程中，受试材料不起燃，或任何一次火焰现象中持续有焰燃烧不超过5 s，且试样不会完全烧尽。
