Scope
This standard specifies the product classification and labeling, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for nylon 66 elastic filament.
This standard applies to elastic filament processed from polyamide-6, with a nominal linear density range of 7 dtex to 150 dtex (the nominal linear density before twisting), a single filament linear density of 0.8 dtex to 5.0 dtex, and a cross-sectional shape of round, glossy, semi-matt, and fully matt filament. It is used for quality appraisal, acceptance, and arbitration of such filaments.
