Scope

This part specifies the method of dispersing pigments and extender pigments using an oscillating mill.
This method is suitable for preparing several sample dispersions for quality control of pigments.
This part should be used in conjunction with the evaluation method described in GB/T 21867. A low-viscosity paint base system is used. This part should be read in conjunction with GB/T 21868.1—2008.
This method is only limited to the grinding of low-viscosity grinding materials, so that the grinding balls can move freely. It is not suitable for determining the best grinding material formula for other dispersion techniques.
