Scope
This standard specifies the classification, usage conditions, structure, and performance requirements of low-voltage fixed enclosed switchgear and control equipment (complete sets of equipment), as well as design verification, routine inspections, information and packaging, transportation, and storage, etc.
This standard applies to low-voltage switchgear and control equipment with a rated voltage of not more than 1,000 V AC or a rated voltage of not more than 1,500 V DC, which are used for power distribution, motor control, line protection, and have a fixed connection enclosed structure for indoor or outdoor operation.
