Scope

〖STFZ〗1.1〖ST〗This standard specifies the basic principles for conducting life assessment of the main pressure-bearing components of power station boilers, proposes the basic steps of life assessment, and recommends commonly used life assessment methods under different damage modes.
〖STFZ〗1.2〖ST〗The main pressure-bearing components of power station boilers in this standard include:
a) 〖WB〗In-furnace pressure-bearing components: water-cooled walls, economizers, superheaters, reheaters;
b) 〖DW〗Out-of-furnace pressure-bearing components: boiler drums, steam-water separators, header tanks;
c) 〖DW〗Steam-water pipelines: main steam pipelines, reheated steam pipelines, feedwater pipelines, steam guide pipes.
〖STFZ〗1.3〖ST〗The life assessment methods for the pressure-bearing components of power station boilers listed in this standard are only applicable to damage modes such as creep, fatigue, the interaction of fatigue and creep, wear, flue gas-side corrosion, and the combined action of flue gas-side corrosion and wear.
〖STFZ〗1.4〖ST〗This standard is not applicable to the life assessment of pressure-bearing components of power station boilers with defects exceeding the standard.
