Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for boiler cleaning units and personnel, cleaning plans and cleaning media, prevention and control of metal corrosion during chemical cleaning, cleaning process technology, chemical supervision during the cleaning process, cleaning quality, cleaning safety assurance, and wastewater discharge treatment. This standard applies to the chemical cleaning of water and steam spaces in stationary steam boilers and hot water boilers (hereinafter referred to as boilers) when they are not in operation.
