Scope

This standard specifies the material requirements, design, construction, and acceptance for the application of anti-corrosion cold-wrapped grease tape on the outer surfaces of steel pipes and fittings (such as flanges, valves, tees, cross tees, etc.) for anti-corrosion protection.
This standard applies to the application of anti-corrosion cold-wrapped grease tape for the external anti-corrosion layer of steel pipes and fittings in atmospheric environments (including humid environments). Other steel structures suitable for the use of cold-wrapped grease tape for external anti-corrosion protection may also refer to this standard for implementation.
