Scope
This standard specifies the conditions, items, requirements, and rules for the installation and acceptance of elevators.
This standard applies to power-driven traction elevators with a rated speed of no more than 6.0 m/s and power-driven forced passenger elevators and freight elevators with a rated speed of no more than 0.63 m/s. For power-driven traction passenger elevators and freight elevators with a rated speed of more than 6.0 m/s, this standard can be referenced, and the parts that are not applicable shall be determined by the manufacturer and the customer through consultation. Elevators for special purposes, such as fire elevators and elevators suitable for disabled persons, shall adjust the acceptance content in accordance with the corresponding product standards.
This standard does not apply to hydraulic elevators, freight elevators, freight-only elevators, and household elevators.
