Scope

This document specifies the conditions, items, requirements, and rules for the acceptance of elevators after installation. This document applies to traction elevators with a rated speed of no more than 6.0 m/s and forced elevators with a rated speed of no more than 0.63 m/s. For traction elevators with a rated speed of more than 6.0 m/s, this document shall be implemented as a reference, and the parts that are not applicable shall be determined by the manufacturer (supplier) and the buyer through consultation. This document does not apply to hydraulic elevators, freight elevators, household elevators, cargo-only elevators, and inclined elevators.
