Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions of steel-reinforced polyethylene plastic composite pipes (hereinafter referred to as pipes) and steel-reinforced polyethylene plastic composite fittings (hereinafter referred to as fittings) for gas use, as well as their raw materials, general requirements, testing methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage.
This standard applies to steel-reinforced polyethylene plastic composite pipes and fittings for gas use with a working temperature of -20 ℃ to 40 ℃ and a maximum working pressure of no more than 1.6 MPa, and a nominal inner diameter of 50 mm to 600 mm.
