GB/T 42805-2023 Juvenile products—General requirements for protection products for family domestic use

Scope

This document specifies the technical requirements, test methods, marking and usage instructions, warning instructions, etc. for home-use infant and child protective products.
This document applies to home-use protective products for infants and children aged 0 to 48 months, including:
—— Fall-prevention products, including fall-prevention helmets, walk-learning fall-prevention pillows, children's floor mats, etc.
—— Anti-collision products, including anti-collision strips (corners), anti-collision bags, anti-collision sleeves for door handles, etc.
—— Anti-infant-opening products, including cabinet door locks (including cabinet doors, drawers, refrigerators, etc.), door and window safety locks, door handle guards, door lock rotary switch protective covers, etc.
—— Socket protection products, including socket hole protective covers and socket protective covers, etc.
—— Anti-pinch hand door guards.
This document does not apply to home decoration protective products that are not specifically designed for use by infants and children, such as door suction cups, door stoppers, sliding window locks (crescent locks), etc.
Note: Appendix A lists examples of the applicable scope of home-use infant and child protective products.
