Scope
This standard specifies the requirements for xenon, test methods, and packaging, marking, storage, transportation, and safety. This standard applies to gaseous and liquid xenon extracted from air by cryogenic methods. It is mainly used in the electric light source industry, as well as in medical, electrical vacuum, and laser fields. Xenon is a colorless, odorless, and inert gas. Molecular formula: Xe. Relative molecular mass: 131.29 (based on the 2001 International Atomic Weight Table).
