Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, and marking, packaging, and storage for rubber structural sealing gaskets used in construction (hereinafter referred to as sealing gaskets).
This standard applies to pre-molded, densely vulcanized structural sealing gaskets, but does not apply to sealing strips used in construction for door and window frames or glass assembly sealing strips.
