Scope

This part of GB/T 24141 specifies the requirements for rubber hoses and pure rubber hoses used in the diesel fuel lines of internal combustion engines. The applicable diesel fuels include "biodiesel", which is composed of up to 20% volume fraction of rapeseed oil methyl ester added to ordinary diesel. In addition, this part can also be used as a classification method, enabling original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to select "marked" tests for specific applications that are not included in the main types of tests specified in the standard (see the example in Appendix E). In this case, rubber hoses and pure rubber hoses should not be marked with any indications of this part number, but they can be detailedly recorded with the OEM's own identification marks shown on their component drawings.
