Scope
This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods, re-inspection, and supply technical conditions of solid welding wires, flux-cored welding wires, and wire-flux combinations made from non-alloy steel and fine-grained steel for submerged arc welding.
This standard applies to the classification of solid welding wires made from non-alloy steel and fine-grained steel for submerged arc welding, as well as the classification requirements for wire-flux combinations with a minimum tensile strength of not more than 570 MPa.
