Scope
1.1 GB/T 4732规定了采用分析设计方法设计的钢制压力容器（以下简称“容器”）的建造要求，提供了以弹性应力分析或弹塑性应力分析为基础，基于失效模式的设计方法。本文件规定了采用分析设计方法设计的容器材料、设计、制造、检验和验收的通用要求。
1.2 GB/T 4732适用的设计压力：
a） 大于或等于0.1 MPa且小于100 MPa的容器；
b） 真空度高于或等于0.02 MPa的容器。
