Scope
This standard specifies the types, basic parameters, and main dimensions of large drum-type gear couplings (hereinafter referred to as couplings), and provides technical requirements, inspection rules, marking, packaging, and storage, etc.
This standard applies to drum-type gear couplings that connect two coaxial horizontal drive shaft systems and have the function of compensating for the relative displacement of the two shafts and transmitting a nominal torque of 265 kN·m to 11,200 kN·m, with a shaft angle of 10°.
