Scope

This standard specifies the classification and marking, raw materials and connections, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of glass fiber reinforced plastic pipe jacking pipes (hereinafter referred to as GRP pipe jacking pipes). This standard applies to GRP pipe jacking pipes used in underground pipe jacking construction methods with a nominal diameter of 400 mm to 3,000 mm, a pressure rating of 0.1 MPa to 1.0 MPa, and a stiffness rating of 15,000 N/m2 to 100,000 N/m2. GRP pipe jacking pipes with other nominal diameters, pressure ratings, and higher stiffness ratings may also be used as a reference.
