GB/T 21561.2-2008 Railway applications—Rolling stock—Pantographs—Characteristics and tests—Part 2:Pantographs for metros and light rail vehicles
Basic Information
Scope
To ensure the ability to collect current from the overhead contact system, this part specifies the general characteristics applicable to pantographs used on metro and light rail vehicles. This part also stipulates the tests that should be conducted on pantographs (excluding insulators). This part does not apply to the dielectric test of pantographs, which should be conducted on pantographs installed on the roof of vehicles. These provisions can also be applied to trams. This part does not apply to pantographs for mainline locomotive vehicles. For pantographs for mainline locomotive vehicles, see GB/T 21561.1. This part relates to conventional suspension overhead contact systems and auxiliary equipment. For rigid suspension systems (or parts thereof), special considerations are required between users and suppliers.
