This standard specifies the performance, safety, and technical requirements for non-sterile rubber surgical gloves for single use.
This standard applies to packaged non-sterile rubber surgical gloves used in surgical procedures to prevent cross-infection between patients and users. However, the storage, safety, proper use, sterilization, and subsequent handling of the gloves are not covered by this standard.
