Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product identification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for flame-retardant low-elasticity polyester filament yarn.
This standard applies to untreated flame-retardant low-elasticity polyester filament yarn with a linear density of 50 dtex to 600 dtex and a single filament linear density of 1.0 dtex to 5.6 dtex, available in triangular cross-section, three-leaf cross-section, and circular cross-section.
This standard applies to colored flame-retardant low-elasticity polyester filament yarn with a linear density of 100 dtex to 360 dtex and a single filament linear density of 1.0 dtex to 5.6 dtex, available in triangular cross-section, three-leaf cross-section, and circular cross-section, produced using dyeing with mother liquor technology.
