Scope
This standard specifies the product classification and labeling, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for pre-oriented nylon 6 filament.
This standard applies to pre-oriented filament processed from polyamide (mainly used for processing elastic filament), with a nominal linear density range of 8 dtex to 444 dtex, and a single filament linear density of 1.0 dtex to 5.5 dtex. It is used for quality appraisal, acceptance, and arbitration of round-section shiny, semi-matt, and fully-matt long filament made from polyamide.
