GB/T 4337-2025 Metallic materials—Fatigue testing—Rotating bar bending method

Scope

This document specifies the principles of the rotating bending fatigue test method for metal materials, the shape and dimensions of the specimens, specimen preparation, the accuracy of the test equipment, heating devices and temperature measurement devices, test procedures, test reports, the presentation of test results, and measurement uncertainty.
This document is applicable to fatigue tests of metal materials under rotating bending conditions at room temperature or high-temperature air. Fatigue tests under other environmental conditions (such as corrosion) should be conducted in accordance with this document.
This document does not include fatigue tests of notched specimens, as the shape and dimensions of notched specimens have not yet been standardized. However, the fatigue test procedures described in this document can also be applied to fatigue tests of notched specimens.
