Scope
This document specifies the requirements and test methods for elastomeric materials used in hydraulic and pneumatic O-ring rubber seals, the preparation and adjustment of samples, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage. This document is applicable to O-ring rubber seals used in hydraulic and pneumatic applications, as well as O-ring rubber seals with a cross-sectional diameter of no more than 7 mm used in other situations (hereinafter collectively referred to as O-rings).
