GB/T 37816-2019 Selection and installation of pressure relief devices on pressure equipment

Scope

This standard specifies the basic technical requirements for the selection and installation of safety relief devices used in pressure-bearing equipment such as pressure vessels and industrial pipelines.
This standard applies to safety relief devices used in pressure-bearing equipment such as pressure vessels and industrial pipelines.
This standard does not apply to the following pressure-bearing equipment:
——Boilers, gas cylinders, oxygen chambers, and non-metallic pressure-bearing equipment;
——Pressure-bearing equipment for military equipment and nuclear facilities;
——Pressure-bearing equipment used in aerospace vehicles, railway locomotives, marine facilities, and ships, as well as in underground mining operations;
——Pressure-bearing equipment that may experience a sudden increase in pressure during operation, with a reaction speed that reaches the level of detonation.
