Scope
This part of GB/T 25895 specifies the shape and color requirements of beach safety flags, and also stipulates the colorimetric and luminous properties of the materials used to make beach safety flags, as well as their physical properties such as intensity and color fastness. The beach safety flags defined in this part are mainly used to convey information about wind conditions, water conditions, and other dangerous situations, or to mark the boundaries of swimming areas and other water activity areas extending from the beach to the water.
This part is applicable to beach safety flags used in the management of coastal and inland water activities. This part is not applicable to flags used in shooting ranges, flags indicating water quality, or signal flags used in water transportation.
