This document specifies the test methods for the common-temperature start-up characteristics, low-temperature cold start-up characteristics, steady-state characteristics, dynamic response characteristics, dynamic average efficiency, high-temperature operation tests, air tightness tests, insulation resistance tests, and mass and power density tests of fuel cell engines. This document is applicable to the testing of automotive proton exchange membrane fuel cell engines.
