Scope
This standard specifies the classification, order content, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates of steel wire ropes used in conveyor belts. This standard applies to galvanized steel wire ropes used as reinforcement materials for steel wire rope-core conveyor belts (hereinafter referred to as steel wire ropes).
