Scope

This standard specifies the dimensions, shapes, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates of hysteresis alloys. This standard applies to cold-rolled strip materials made from iron-cobalt-vanadium alloys of series 2J7, 2J9, 2J10, 2J11, and 2J12, iron-cobalt-nickel-vanadium alloys of series 2J4, and iron-cobalt-molybdenum alloys of series 2J21, 2J23, 2J25, and 2J27, which are used in the production of rotors for hysteresis motors and hysteresis brakes.
