Scope
《爆炸性环境》的本部分规定了测定可燃性粉尘和可燃性粉尘层的试验方法,用于对存在这类物质的场所进行分类,以便正确选择和安装可燃性粉尘环境用电气设备和非电气设备(机械设备等)。
测定的可燃性粉尘特性适用于以下环境条件:
——温度:-20 ℃~+60 ℃;
——压力:80 kPa~110 kPa;
——空气中正常氧含量(体积比):通常为21%。
本部分规定的试验方法不适用于:
——已知的爆炸物质、推进剂(如火药、炸药),或者在某些条件下有类似特性的物质或混合物;或者
——不需要大气中的氧即可燃烧的爆炸物质或推进剂。
