Scope
《爆炸性环境》的本部分给出了设备、产品和工艺过程避免静电点燃和静电电击危害的指南,以及保证设备、产品或工艺过程安全使用的操作要求。
本部分适用于对静电危害进行危险评定,或用于制定电气或非电气设备标准或专用产品标准。
工业流程与环境中通常导致问题的静电危害都予以考虑。这些流程包括固体、液体、粉末、气体、喷雾及爆炸物的处理。对每种情况,确定静电危害来源及特性并给出具体处理建议。
本部分的目的是为控制静电提供标准的建议,例如,导体接地、减少起电、限制绝缘件的可起电面积。在某些情况下,静电是工艺过程的一部分,例如,静电喷涂,但同时静电产生的负面影响是本部分关注的内容。如果能够符合本部分的标准建议,则爆炸性环境中的静电放电危害可降低到可接受的低水平。
如果不能满足本部分的要求,也可采用其他至少达到同等安全水平的方法。
注: 固体、液体、气体、爆炸物和人体静电的产生原因,以及静电如何导致点燃或静电电击的描述参见本部分附录A和附录B及IEC/TR 613401。
本部分不适用于与雷电有关的静电危害,也不适用于电子元件损坏。
本部分不取代涉及特定产品及特定工业环境的标准。
