Scope
This part of GB/T 11017 specifies the test methods and requirements for fixed installation cross-linked polyethylene insulated power cable systems with a rated voltage of 110 kV (Um = 126 kV), the cable body, and its accessories.
This part applies to single-core cables and their accessories used under normal installation and operating conditions, but does not apply to cables and accessories used under special conditions, such as submarine cables. For these special-purpose cables and accessories, it may be necessary to modify the tests in this part or to set some special test conditions.
This part does not include transition joints for connecting cross-linked polyethylene insulated cables and paper insulated cables.
