Scope
This document describes the test methods for fixed installation cross-linked polyethylene insulated power cable systems with a rated voltage of 66 kV and 110 kV, the cable body, and its accessories, and stipulates the corresponding requirements.
This document is applicable to the testing of cables and their accessories used under normal installation and operating conditions, but not to the testing of cables and their accessories used under special conditions, such as submarine cables and transition joints connecting cross-linked polyethylene insulated cables and paper insulated cables.
