Scope

This standard specifies the ordering content, dimensions, shapes, weights, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates for alloy structural steel plates and strips.
This standard applies to hot-rolled alloy structural steel plates with a thickness of 4 mm to 200 mm (hereinafter referred to as "steel plates") and hot-rolled alloy structural steel strips with a thickness of not more than 12 mm and a width of less than 600 mm (including sheared steel plates) (hereinafter referred to as "steel strips").
