Scope

This standard specifies the types, basic parameters and dimensions, technical requirements, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, storage, etc. of SWP large cross-shaft universal joints (hereinafter referred to as large universal joints).
This standard applies to large universal joints used to connect two drive shaft systems with different axes, with a rotating diameter of 600 mm to 1,200 mm; a nominal torque transmission of 1,150 kN·m to 12,500 kN·m; and an axial angle of 5° to 15°.
