Scope

This standard specifies the detection requirements, detection equipment, equipment calibration, detection process, evaluation, and detection reports for the ultrasonic detection of large inclusions in bearing steel. This standard is applicable to liquid-immersion pulse reflection longitudinal wave incident probes, and is used to detect internal inclusions in bearing steel rods with a diameter or edge length of 35 mm to 100 mm. Other sizes or steel grades can also be implemented as a reference.
