Scope
This standard specifies the method for measuring the laser performance of neodymium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet (Nd:Y3Al5O12, referred to as Nd:YAG) laser rods in a standard laser cavity at a wavelength of 1064 nm.
This standard is applicable to the measurement of Nd:YAG crystals, and the method can also be used as a reference for measuring neodymium-doped glass and ceramic laser rods.
