Scope

This standard specifies the metrological requirements, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for fixed electronic weighing instruments (hereinafter referred to as "weighing instruments"). This standard applies to non-automatic weighing instruments that use weighing sensors and electronic weighing instruments, including electronic vehicle scales, electronic floor scales, electronic overhead scales, electronic hopper scales, and various special fixed electronic weighing instruments. This standard does not apply to electronic weighing instruments with hanging weighing methods.
