Scope

This standard specifies the classification, order content, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates of zinc 5% aluminum mixed rare earth alloy-plated steel wire (hereinafter referred to as steel wire) and steel strands (hereinafter referred to as steel strands).
This standard applies to the manufacture of steel wire for overhead strands; it is suitable for overhead power grounding wires, communication cables, suspension brackets, hanging, tying and fixing objects, etc. This alloy-plated product is suitable for workplaces requiring corrosion resistance and tensile strength.
