Scope

Scope: This document specifies the processing technical regulations for Jiang Han rice, including raw material and product requirements, basic requirements for processing enterprises, main process technical requirements, safety and hygiene management, and storage and transportation, etc. This document is applicable to rice processing conducted using raw materials that meet the standards of T/HBLS 0021.1 "Jiang Han Rice - Part 1: Paddy" in the 37 counties (cities and districts) within the Jiang Han Plain region. Main technical content: 3 Terms and definitions: The terms and definitions specified in GB 1350, GB/T 1354, GB/T 8874, GB/T 8875, GB/T 22515, GB/T 26631, and GB/T 26632 apply to this standard. 4 Raw material and product requirements 4.1 Raw material requirements: Comply with T/HBLS 0021.1. 4.2 Product requirements: Comply with T/HBLS 0021.4. 5 Basic requirements for processing enterprises 5.1 The environmental and facility requirements of the factory area shall comply with the relevant provisions of GB/T 26630-2011 regarding "4 Factory Area Environment" and "5 Factory Facilities". Cleaning, husking, milling, and packing shall be conducted in separate processing areas, with each area isolated from the others. 5.2 The equipment selection for the cleaning, husking, milling, and packing sections of the rice processing line shall comply with the relevant provisions of LS/T 1231. 6 Main process technical requirements 6.1 The cleaning section typically includes screening, wind-screening, gravity-based stone removal, and magnetic separation. For various by-products removed during the cleaning process of paddy, separate sorting processes shall be set up. The operational indicators for the cleaning section are shown in Table 1.
