Scope

This document specifies the classification, specifications, and models of metal-covered hoses for connecting gas appliances, including materials, appearance, structure and dimensions, performance requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and installation instructions, packaging, transportation, and storage. This document applies to metal-covered hoses used to connect indoor gas pipelines or bottled liquefied petroleum gas regulators to gas burners, where the transmission medium is urban gas, the nominal size is not greater than DN15, the maximum working pressure is 0.01 MPa, and the operating temperature range is -10 ℃ to 70 ℃. This document does not apply to metal-covered hoses used to connect with gas burners when the transmission medium contains dimethyl ether.
