Scope
This document specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation, and storage for star anise (Illicium verum Hook.f.), cinnamon (Cinnamomum cassia Presl), and Sichuan pepper (Zanthoxylum bungeanum Maxim.) products.
This document is applicable to the quality grading of star anise products (large red star anise, angular flower star anise, dried branch star anise), cinnamon products (plate cinnamon, cinnamon thread, smoked cinnamon, cinnamon powder), and Sichuan pepper products (red Sichuan pepper, green Sichuan pepper).
