Scope

This part of GB/T 33588 specifies the requirements and test methods for the following components of lightning protection systems:
—— Metal conductors (non-"natural" conductors) that constitute lightning arresters and down conductors;
—— Metal grounding rods that constitute grounding devices.
Note: Non-"natural" conductors refer to dedicated lightning arresters or down conductors, rather than using natural metal components (such as building reinforcing bars, etc.), see GB/T 21714.3—2015, section 3.15.
