Scope

GB/T 33588的本部分规定了雷电防护系统的隔离放电间隙（ISG）的要求和试验方法。
某些金属设施由于自身的功能原因，不允许和雷电防护系统进行直接等电位连接。因此，ISG可用于雷电防护系统与这些金属设施之间进行间接等电位连接。
典型应用包括与下列设施的连接：
——电力设施的接地系统；
——电信系统的接地系统；
——交流和直流铁路系统的铁轨接地极；
——实验室测量接地极；
——带阴极保护和杂散电流系统的装置；
——低压架空电缆的用户进线杆；
——跨接在管道的绝缘法兰盘或绝缘接头两端。
本部分不包括有续流产生的应用场合。
注：雷电防护系统部件(LPSC)亦适用于危险环境，如火灾和爆炸性环境。安装于此条件下的部件需考虑必要的附加要求。
