This standard specifies the high-performance liquid chromatography method for determining lactoferrin in food.
This standard is applicable to the determination of bovine lactoferrin content in pasteurized milk, modified milk, milk-based beverages, modified milk powder, and milk-based infant and toddler formula foods.
This standard is not applicable to the determination of bovine lactoferrin in flavored fermented milk and soy-based infant and toddler formula foods.
