JJF 1191-2008 Calibration Specification for Acoustic Performance of Audiometry Rooms
This standard specifies the measurement method for the acoustic characteristics of the sound field in an audiometry room.
This audiometry room is suitable for hearing threshold checks using pure tones, FM tones, narrowband noise, or recorded language materials, with air-conduction headphones, speakers, or bone vibrators as sound emitters.
The main purpose is to ensure the accuracy and reproducibility of audiometry results when determining the hearing threshold in a frequency range of 125Hz to 125kHz.
This standard is also applicable to the measurement of the acoustic characteristics of audiometry rooms used for measuring otoacoustic emissions and auditory evoked potentials.
