Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of battery pallet trucks (hereinafter referred to as pallet trucks).
This standard applies to battery pallet trucks powered by batteries, with a maximum ground clearance of no more than 300 mm on the upper surface of the forks.
This standard also applies to battery trucks that replace the forks with a platform design.
